Jackie Appiah named global ambassador for Omolewa make-up as brand prepares for Nigerian launch Omolewa

LaBelleZZa Group-owned Omolewa has appointed a new global ambassador. Canadian-born, Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah will front a campaign that will take the make-up brand, already popular in the US, UK and Ghana, truly global.

“I started as a customer of Omolewa make-up products. I am very proud that a fellow African has discovered her passion that makes our women feel beautiful everyday through her product line. I became an ambassador because I love the people behind the company and work well with them,” said Appiah on her appointment.

The brand is set to launch onto the Nigerian market by the end of the year, according to Founder Irene Dele-Adejumo. “Hundreds of requests come in every week from Nigeria, but we will be arriving in Lagos very soon for a launch of our new products. I am also excited to be coming back home to do this for my people,” she told Bella Ninja.
