Amorepacific Group has announced a global strategic partnership with health and beauty retailer A.S. Watson.
The collaboration will expand Amorepacific’s reach across both Asia and Europe and will allow the company to introduce its premium beauty brands to new markets. According to a press release, Amorepacific sees A.S.Watson as, ‘the perfect retail partner’ to extend its brands’ reach internationally and enable business expansion.
Having ‘wide and scalable’ distribution platforms in Asia and Europe, both offline and online, A.S. Watson is said to be a ‘retail pioneer’ for K beauty. Not the first time the two have collaborated, A.S. Watson has previously helped launch Amorepacific’s botanical skincare range Mamonde, as well as haircare brands RYO and Mise-En-Scene across Asia.
Saehong Ahn, President of Amorepacific Corporation said, “Through the partnership with A.S. Watson Group, we look forward to developing concrete plans that create synergy and is a win for both companies. Amorepacific will continue our efforts to expand accessibility for customers globally, and create novel experience for customers in 2019.” (sic).
