Speciality chemicals company Ashland has announced an increase in its composite products in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by 100 euros per metric ton.

Effective 1st September, or as soon as contracts allow, the increase is said to have been driven by growing costs in key raw materials, as well as increased logistics costs.

According to a press release, the company stated, “Ashland continues to make these decisions with the intent to ensure we are servicing our customers with the utmost quality and performance and the ability to continue reinvesting in our product line.”
