Avon to focus on online sales with new Content Studio

Avon has announced the launch of a new Content Studio, created in partnership with global creative production company MediaMonks, with a focus on digital growth.

According to a press release, the Content Studio will be a content creation hub that is ‘always on’, creating more than 12,000 pieces of content annually. The content will be available in multiple languages to cater to local markets and will support its representatives use of ecommerce and digital tools.

James Thompson, Chief Beauty & Brand Officer at Avon said, “In 2018 we began to launch tools to help Representatives engage with their customers online. This partnership gives us the opportunity to support the early adoption and growth by unleashing the inherent potential, with always-on, engaging content to delight, entertain and inform our Beauty Entrepreneurs and their customers.
“This is a new era for Avon’s brand and product marketing and we’re pleased to add MediaMonks to our extended team of strategic partners to drive brand re-appraisal and business growth.”

The Content Studio will go live in March, starting with Brazil, UK, Mexico, and Russia. MediaMonks will create content that is delivered weekly, creating an ecosystem that will include video, gifs, and gamified content.
