Unilever-owned Dove is offering Canadian shoppers the chance to create personalized baby care products, according to a report published by Strategy Online.

Dove has set up a microsite for its newly launched My Baby Dove initiative, allowing shoppers to personalize product packaging with the name of their child, which will then be delivered direct to their door.

The service will be rolled out across the US and UK markets too. The brand is also carrying out a micro-influencer campaign with parents on Instagram and Facebook. Andrew Dawson, Associate Brand Manager at Baby Dove revealed to Strategy Online that the campaign was inspired by both the increasing trend for personalized CPG products but also because the hunt for a baby name dominates parents’ search history.
