Ranveer Singh has been signed as the new face of Nivea Men in India and will be actively involved in all advertising, a series of marketing and customer initiatives, and digital campaigns.
The Bollywood actor is hoped to better help the Beiersdorf-owned brand communicate with a younger target audience and boost Nivea Men in the country by showcasing Singh’s sensitive attributes for the first time while also playing on the dynamic and spontaneous side the actor is known for.
Neil George, Managing Director, Nivea India, said, “Singh personifies the young India and embodies Nivea Men’s characteristics of being a powerhouse of talent and an achiever, who is straightforward yet quirky, confident but approachable, masculine but self-effacing, and above all caring.
“Nivea India is addressing the young, modern consumer and this is a step towards tapping into the trend of ‘modernity’ and Singh is the perfect evangelist for the brand to increase its engagement with the young India.”
Singh began working as the face of the brand in a multimedia deodorant campaign that ran from August 10th.
