British beauty retailer Boots has announced a reorganisation of its head office, which is predicted to leave at least 350 jobs at risk.
According to the company, it is looking to reduce overall costs at its Beeston, Nottinghamshire head office by 25 percent, with some 2,500 people working in the office.
While confirming there were no plans to relocate from the area, approximately 800 employees are now entering a 45-day consultation, expected to start around 27 March, which comes as part of a $1 billion Walgreen Boots Alliance restructure.
The company is said to be looking to create ‘smaller and more agile teams’ and looking to reduce decision making times. Warehouse staff are not expected to be affected by the restructure.
