Avon has successfully sublet a floor of its former New York HQ to a professional services firm, according to a report published by Real Estate Weekly online.
Compliance Solutions Strategies has taken 24,650 sq ft, which equates to the entire 10th floor of the building at 777 Third Avenue.
“This modern space with its flexible, open layout is an ideal fit for the subtenant,” Dale Schlather of Cushman & Wakefield told Real Estate Weekly. “Additionally, the property’s midtown location and accessibility to Grand Central Terminal makes 777 Third Avenue a very attractive opportunity.”
Avon has relocated to One Liberty Plaza in the Financial District, a move announced last year. Some 73,950 square feet – or three floors – of its nine-floor space remains unoccupied.
