Coty-owned Sally Hansen is launching its first ever global brand campaign. Shetopia, as the short film has been dubbed, shines the spotlight on self-made women.

The campaign is said to encapsulate ‘the progressive views of Sally Hansen, an original self-made woman’. Produced, directed and shot by a nearly all-female crew, the film features 9 driven women who have contributed their own real-life experiences to the project.

“There’s something that ties all of these women together,” says Director Natalie Rae. “They bring this sense of confidence and collectivity – a sense of freedom. As a filmmaker, I work in a space that is very male dominated, which can affect the process but not my vision.”
