Natural cosmetics company Dr Hauschka Skin Care has announced that its full product line has received organic certification from industry auditor NATRUE.
Founded in 2008, Brussels-based non-profit association NATRUE monitors cosmetics companies internationally, awarding them one of three levels of certification according to the level of natural or organic ingredients used in products.
There is no legal definition for natural cosmetics and NATRUE certification aims to provide a tool for customers seeking better clarification.
Dr. Hauschka Skin Care achieved the highest level of accreditation, level three, which indicates that at least 95 % of natural ingredients come from controlled organic cultivation and/or controlled wild collection.
Victor Morrison, CEO of Dr. Hauschka Skin Care, commented, “NATRUE is an internationally recognized natural and organic certification that helps consumers identify products that have met criteria for being truly natural. Dr. Hauschka Skin Care products have been one-hundred percent natural and sourced with only the highest of quality ingredients for more that forty-five years. NATRUE’s verification that our products are natural and organic validates the trust consumers have in our brand.”
