DS Healthcare Group has high hopes for Brazilian market on Spectral.Lash launch; aims for 30 percent of sales

DS Healthcare Group has gone all out for the debut of its eyelash stimulating product, Spectral.Lash, in Brazil’s Drogaria Iguatemi in the hope of building high sales from the off. The launch campaign includes floor-to-ceiling displays, a cover position for Spectral.Lash on Drgaria Iguatemi’s magazine and a mention on the homepage of its website.

“The rollout of Spectral.Lash has blown away our greatest expectations. We believe this product will continue to drive considerable revenue going forward. This product alone could represent as much as 30 percent of sales in Brazil, given Brazilians’ obsession with their appearance,” said Leonardo Chiacchio, CEO of DS Laboratories do Brasil.

“We expect Brazil to represent one of the largest growth drivers for DS Healthcare. With the Brazilian cosmetic market leading second only to the US in its size, it is the ideal market for our products,” added Daniel Khesin, President and CEO of DS Healthcare.

The company has plans to roll-out its presence throughout Brazil’s leading pharmacy chains, bringing the total to 1,000 locations within the space of a year.
