Kering has appointed Carlo Alberto Beretta to the newly created position of Chief Client & Marketing Officer, effective today. Beretta will report directly to Chairman and CEO Francois-Henri Pinault and will remain a member of Kering’s executive committee.

Beretta is charged with providing a rewarding and consistent experience to customers across all channels, and enhancing relationships with clients to optimise their loyalty. His responsibilities will include building a comprehensive, measurable and profitable customer culture for each Kering brand and accelerating omni-channel distribution across the group.

“I wanted to give our maisons exceptional support and expertise in what is their main challenge in the years to come: the ability to meet their customers’ needs and fulfil their desires. I am therefore happy to appoint Carlo Alberto Beretta, who has demonstrated the qualities required to realise our ambitious customer strategy,” commented Pinault.
