Firmenich has named Mehdi Lisi as the new Vice President of its fine fragrance creative development centre, according to a report by WWD.com.
Lisi will be tasked with ‘driving excellence’ in fragrance evaluation as well as navigating the global alignment of fine fragrance marketing and consumer insights at the Swiss fragrance and flavors company.
Talking of the appointment in a statement, Firmenich said “In this capacity, Mehdi is responsible for driving excellence in fragrance evaluation, consumer insights, technical development and marketing for the fine fragrance department in the Paris office.”
Having previously held positions at IFF, L’Oréal and with Firmenich between 2002 and 2004, Lisi is an industry expert.
Armand de Villoutreys, President, perfumery and ingredients, said, “Mehdi brings a unique perspective with a solid track record in creative, marketing and sales, as well as strong knowledge of both the French and American markets.”
