Glossier’s President and CFO has resigned from his role to launch his own business, according to a  report published by Business of Fashion.

Henry Davis will leave the company on December 31 to ‘pursue his own entrepreneurial opportunities’. As to what those opportunities entail, Davis was not to be drawn.

“Henry has been my partner since the earliest days of Glossier. He was one of the first people to understand the opportunity to build a new kind of company – one that leverages technology to create in collaboration with its customers,” Emily Weiss, Founder and CEO of Glossier, told Business of Fashion. “I’m so excited for him as he begins his own entrepreneurial journey.”

Nabil Mallick, Partner at Thrive Capital and a Glossier board member will serve as interim CFO while the company is actively recruiting a replacement for Davis.
