Firmenich USA has announced that it has become the first in its industry to be certified as a gender equality employer by Economic Dividends for Gender Equality (EDGE).
Just seven companies have been globally certified as gender equality employers worldwide. The certification process involves the evaluation of policies in place for pay equity as well as inclusive company culture and equal hiring opportunities. Firmenich stood out for its ‘exceptional’ maternity leave retention rate.
