Henkel is hoping to boost sales in the second half with a slew of new product launches in major markets after it announced its flattest organic sales growth in 8 years for the second quarter of fiscal 2017, according to a report published by Reuters.

The manufacturer of Schwarzkopf reported organic sales growth of 2.2 percent, well below analyst expectations of 3.2 percent and at the bottom end of its forecast. Shares fell to a six-month low as the results were released.

“The team is looking at where we can innovate in the second half of the year, we have a strong pipeline of products and are doing more rollouts,” said CEO Hans van Bylen.
