LG has embarked on the development of its new $300 million US headquarters, with its personal care affiliate LG Household & Care also set to use the building.

The company will work on the three-year project in a bid to integrate all its offices in the US into the new facility and make the company more sustainable.

Speaking to the Korea Times, an LG Electronics official said, “The new building is expected to contribute some $26 million annually to the local economy by creating jobs and paying taxes. While building the new headquarters, we also estimate more than 2,000 jobs will be created in the construction industry there.”
