LG Household & Health Care has reported yet another record-breaking set of results. The division’s fourth quarter sales were up 14.2 percent on the same period a year prior, reaching a total of KRW1.7 trillion, according to a report published by Business Korea.

Operating profit was also up – growing 23.5 percent yoy to reach KRW101 billion, the 55th consecutive quarter of growth for the company.

Cosmetics sales hit the trillion-won mark for the first time thanks in particular to LG’s stable of luxury brands, with the household side of the business also putting on a strong performance.

For full year fiscal 2018, sales were up 10.5 percent to KRW6.7 trillion while operating profit grew 11.7 percent to KRW1 trillion and net income rose 12 percent to KRW692 billion.
