L’Oréal has announced the appointment of Philippe Cornu as the Global Head of Acquisitions and External Business Development.

Cornu will succeed Alain Evrard in his new position, who is set to retire. Under Evrard’s leadership since 2007 the French beauty house has expanded its international brand portfolio from 22 to 34.

Having joined the company in 1987, Cornu has managed several business units across the globe, before holding a Country Manager position in the Balkans and Greece. Cornu then undertook his most recent role of Head of Risk Management and Compliance in the Finance and Administration department.
