L’Oréal USA has announced the appointment of Nathalie Gerschtein as President, Consumer Products Division, L’Oréal USA, effective March 1.
Gerschtein transferred to the French beauty giant’s US division last summer, and has worked for the L’Oréal Group across various roles for 17 years. She succeeds Michel Brousset who is leaving the company to pursue ‘entrepreneurial activities’.
“Nathalie’s business acumen and vast experience within the Consumer Products Division will be a critical asset in driving strong acceleration of our omni-channel strategy,” said Frederic Roze, President and CEO of L’Oréal USA. “Her expertise in eCommerce, her vision to reinvent the in-store environment and her deep knowledge of the very strategic skin care category make Nathalie the perfect candidate to realize the modern, strategic direction of the Consumer Products Division in the US.”
Gerschtein’s current role as President, Maybelline New York, Garnier and esse will be taken on by Alanna MacDonald who is currently President L’Oréal Canada Consumer Products Division.
