LVMH has reported strong revenue growth for the first nine months of the financial year. The group saw revenue rise 10 percent (reported) to reach €33.1 billion thanks to 10 percent revenue growth in the third quarter continuing the upward trajectory recorded in the first half of fiscal 2018.

The Perfumes & Cosmetics business group saw organic revenue rise 14 percent in the first nine months of the year, with LVMH attributing the growth to its star brands, particularly Christian Dior with its recently launched Joy fragrance.

Despite suffering from airport concession closures in Hong Kong, Selective Retailing still put on 8 percent in organic revenue with Sephora singled out as a highlight, particularly with regards to its performance in North America and Asia.
