L’Oréal USA has announced the appointment of Nathalie Gerschtein as President for the Maybelline, Garnier and Essie brands, according to a report by WWD.com.

Gerschtein will succeed Ikdeep Singh in the new role, with Singh moving onto a ‘strategic leadership role’ within the company.

Having started her new role this week at L’Oréal USA’s Hudson Yards headquarters, Gerschtein has been with the group for 16 years in roles such as marketing and management positions for L’Oreal Paris and Garnier in India, with her most recent role being country manager of L’Oréal Thailand.

Gerschtein said, “I am thrilled to join the L’Oréal USA team to lead Maybelline New York, Garnier and Essie, and to build on each of the brand’s successes.”
