Natura &Co posted a strong performance for the third quarter of fiscal 2018. Consolidated sales rose 37.1 percent (reported sales) or 16.6 percent (adjusted revenue) to reach BR3.24 billion.
Reported income more than doubled, up 118 percent to BR132.8 million, which the company attributed to a higher EBITDA and lower financial expenses.
All three business units reported growth with Natura’s revenue gaining 4.5 percent in Q3, while The Body Shop put on 3.6 percent (adjusted revenue, constant exchange rates). Aesop was once again the star of the show with revenue up 34.8 percent (reported).
“Natura &Co posted another quarter of solid performance, providing new evidence of the growing momentum and strength of our global, multi-brand, multi-channel group,” said Executive Chairman of the Board, Roberto Marques. “Natura in Brazil and Latam grew in core categories and online, while The Body Shop’s sales increased boosted by head franchise orders and stable company stores sales. Aesop maintained its stellar growth, both in like-for-like store sales and online.”
