Newsweek names L’Oréal world’s Most Sustainable Company

L’Oréal has announced that it has topped Newsweek’s 2017 Global 500 Green Rankings with a combined score of 89.9 percent.

We’re continuously pushing ourselves to innovate, produce and develop more sustainably while also helping to empower our customers to make more sustainable choices.”  

Newsweek ranks the sustainability performance of the largest publicly traded companies in the US and the world by revenue. The ranking is based on eight environmental and sustainability factors including energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, carbon and water productivity as well as the presence of executive, board and third-party oversight mechanisms.
