Coty has reportedly bid farewell to its Senior Vice President Global Travel Retail, Philippe Margueritte, who spent more than 15 years with the company.

Margueritte will be succeeded by Txema Marquiegui effective immediately, who will remain based at the global travel retail team’s headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland and report to Edgar Huber, Coty Luxury Global President.

Prior to his departure Margueritte played an instrumental part in Coty’s merger with Procter & Gamble’s fine fragrance, colour cosmetics, salon professional and hair colour brands and was previously CEO of Coty Beauty, Spain.

Marquiegui takes on the role of SVP, global travel retail from his previous position as Senior Vice President Coty Luxury for Europe. Before moving on to Coty, Marquiegui worked for P&G for 12 years in roles such as Vice President, P&G Prestige.
