Puig has announced a minority investment in Kama Ayurveda. The Spanish fragrance giant has invested some €12.5 million in the leading Indian Ayurvedic brand.
The funds will be piled into furthering the company’s domestic and international expansion and Puig has reserved the right to up its stake in the future.
The Barcelona-based marketer behind Prada perfumes has also invested in Colombian beauty retailer Loto del Sur. The agreement is described as ‘the basis for a long-term partnership’ with Puig helping the luxury Latin American brand to expand its portfolio of bath, body, facial skin care and fragrance products to international markets.
