Revlon lace-inspired packaging lands branding agency Anthem an industry award

Branding agency Anthem has received a coveted design award for the packaging of Revlon’s ‘By Marchesa’ range of beauty tools.

Drawing inspiration from fashion house Marchesa’s lace-adorned runway collection, Anthem created packaging for Revlon with a “masstige” quality- leveraging both prestige and mass appeal.

The agency, owned by parent company SGK, was recognised at the 2015 GDUSA America Package Design Awards, receiving a Certificate of Excellence in the competition’s Beauty and Personal Care category.

Janice Jaworski, Anthem’s Vice President of Brand Development, Americas, commented, “This recognition acknowledges Anthem’s ability to use design to create brand desirability and influence consumers. Brands who leverage design to create that unique consumer experience—on both the physical and digital shelf—can generate interest, trust and loyalty. In the end, it’s about marketing.
