Unilever has nominated Susan Kilsby to its board. Kilsby’s appointment will be subject to shareholder approval at the AGM scheduled for the start of May – and, if it gets the green light, she will serve as a Non-Executive Director from August 1.
Kilsby, whose background is in banking, has served as Independent Non Executive Director for L’Occitane as well as Chairman at Shire Pharmaceuticals.
“I am very pleased that Susan has agreed to be proposed to join the Boards,” commented Marijn Dekkers, Chairman of Unilever. “She has had a successful executive career in the banking sector and has extensive Board experience as a non-executive in global consumer goods, financial and pharmaceutical sectors. She will further strengthen the Boards with her broad-based expertise and deep knowledge in the areas of finance and M&A.”
