Unilever Ventures invests in Australian skin care company Dr Roebuck’s

Unilever Ventures has been announced as the latest investor in Australian skincare company Dr Roebuck’s.

The investment was secured during a recent financing round with the venture capitalist and private equity arm of Unilever, with the new funding set to be used to bolster the Dr Roebuck’s growth, boost its infrastructure, and invest in product innovation and R&D.

Rachel Harris, Director of Unilever Ventures, said, “Dr Roebuck’s appealed to us because it is a brand that really lives and breathes clean beauty and its Australian lifestyle roots. We look forward to working with Kim, Zoe and Natalie to help further drive Dr Roebuck’s international growth plans.”

Having launched into Sephora Europe and Southeast Asia this month, Dr Roebuck’s, which was founded by sisters Zoe and Kim Roebuck, is now looking to grow its direct retail operations globally.
