The L’Oréal Group has announced the appointment of Vanya Panayotova as County General Manager for its Romanian arm, effective January 2019.

Panayotova will succeed Gilles Antoine in the new role, who has moved into a new position within the group.

There will be a transitional period following Panayotova’s appointment, which will be overseen by Javier Labarta as Interim County General Manager.

Panayotova has extensive experience within Romania having previously holding the roles of General Manager of Orbico Romania and as Sector Manager Market Strategy & Planning Balkans Markets, P&G.

Speaking in a statement released to ACT Media, Panayotova stated, “I am honoured to join L’Oréal Romania as Country General Manager and I am truly impressed with the company’s achievements on a very challenging and demanding market. I am excited to be part of such a passionate, open-minded and innovative team and I cannot wait to contribute to the company’s mission of offering beauty for all.”
