A trademark application made by Rihanna’s holding company, Roraj Trade LLC, has gone viral after a fan spotted a new entry for House of Fenty, according to a report published by PopSugar.

Filed on September 15, just a week after Fenty Beauty make-up hit shelves, the application covers ‘non-medicated skin care preparations, cleaners and peels, hand lotions, nail care preparations, artificial nails, nail polish, nail polish removers, nail treatment creams, temporary tattoos for use as cosametics, shower gels, bath gel, and perfume’.

PopSugar points out that the trademark for Fenty Beauty was registered some three years before it came to fruition in the form of products on shelf, and that it’s standard practice for celebrities to apply for multiple trademarks to prevent others profiting from their name.
